Volumetrics - Case Study
Our client needed a better understanding of the volume of material that they had on site part-way through a build.
As one of their preferred suppliers and having already been using our services for site update photography, we discussed their requirements and our capabilities. When compared to more traditional methods we became the obvious choice to undertake this additional work given the speed at which we could deploy and produce the results for them.
Using an RTK enabled drone which produces extremely accurate results we surveyed the site taking a series of highly detailed images. The data was then processed with specialist software and a model built. Each stockpile was measured and results shared within 24 hours of the drone flight.
The client was so impressed with the outcomes that we were subsequently asked to repeat the work as part of their ongoing stockpile analysis
